MAYVILLE – Audrey D. Mayer, 89, of 40 Evans Street, Mayville, died Saturday (January 19, 2013) in St. Vincent's Hospital in Erie, PA.

She was born September 5, 1923 in Westfield, NY

Audrey had been a waitress at Dick's Harbor House in Mayville for several years. She was a member of the Lake Chautauqua Memorial Post VFW Auxiliary in Mayville.

Audrey enjoyed playing bingo, baking, going to the Casino's, and loved Line Dancing.

She is survived by two daughters, Connie (Ron) Hall of Mayville, and JoAnne Stursa of Mayville; one grandson, Jason Stursa of Mayville; four great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Mayer; a daughter, Marie Lindsay Mayer; two grandsons, Ricky Hall and Tom Hall; and a sister, Ardith Butts.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday (January 26, 2013) in the Freay Funeral Home, Mayville. Rev. Mark Parsons of the Mayville United Methodist Church will officiate.

The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the funeral on Saturday, at the funeral home.
