SHERMAN- Bruce Dennis Hawkins, 78, of Sherman, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Bruce is survived by his true love, Jane E. Hawkins. He was born on October 13, 1946, in Westfield, NY. He was a Vietnam Veteran and served in the Air Force. He was an amazing nurse and loved caring for people. He had been a fireman in Bradenton, FL and Ripley, NY. Bruce was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and loved to golf with all of his friends. Bruce was a very caring man who loved his wife and family. He loved playing practical jokes and had the best humor in doing so. Bruce always had a smile on his face and brought joy to everyone he crossed paths with. He will be greatly missed by all.

At Bruce's request, there will be no public services observed. A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.

Bruce had requested to make donations to the Stanley Hose Fire Department in Sherman, NY.
