MAYVILLE – Carol K. Jackson, 75, of West Lake Road, Mayville, died Tuesday (October 6, 2015) at UPMC Hamot Medical Center in Erie, PA.
She was born May 28, 1940 in Mayville the daughter of the late Louis H. and Velma Stacey Krause.
Carol owned and managed the Chautauqua Beauty Shop in Chautauqua Institution. She was a member of the North Harmony Senior Citizens.
Carol enjoyed playing bingo, gardening, camping, bird watching, and her friends and family.
She is survived by one son, Jason (Stacey) Jackson of Bridgewater, NJ; one daughter, Elizabeth (Charles) Graham of Norfolk, VA; three grandchildren, Andrew, Kimberly and Shay Jackson; one brother, Charles (Dorothy) Krause of Mayville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Jackson whom she married January 8, 1977 in Chautauqua and who died April 11, 2013; and one niece, Judy Krause Auge.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am Friday (Nov. 27, 2015) at the North Harmony Senior Center in Stow.
