MAYVILLE – Carolyn M. Murray, 66, of West Lake Road, Mayville, died Monday (July 20, 2015) in her home.
She was born December 14, 1948 in Jamestown the daughter of the late Alfred F. Jones and Judy Kinder Jones.
Carolyn retired from Lutheran Social Services after 38 years of service as an LPN and Director of Purchasing. Later she became a licensed Lymphedema Therapist for Whispers Boutique in Jamestown.
She was a long standing member of the Chautauqua Fire Department Auxiliary of which she was a past president.
Carolyn enjoyed spending time with her family, loved traveling and was an avid golfer.
She is survived by her mother, Judy Jones of Mayville; two sons, Scott Olson(Trisha, Jillian, and Callie ) of Mayville, and James R. (Ruby) Murray of Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Kyle and Morgan Olson, Annabelle, Destiny, Braydon, Logan and Conner; one sister, Karyn (Donald) Fahey of Florida; one brother, William (Michele) Jones of Mayville.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alfred F. Jones who died August 4, 2009.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Chautauqua Fire Department.
