SHERMAN- Charlene Yvonne LaCross 69, of Sherman, passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at UPMC Hamot Hospital in Erie, PA, following an extended illness.

She was born February 11, 1952 in Jamestown, NY, the daughter of the late Howard and Mary Johnson Coleman.

Char attended Sherman Central School. She had worked as a Machinist for Thayer Tool and Die Inc. in Blockville, NY.

She is survived by her three children; Heather LaCross of Clymer, NY, Petra Winne of Smithville, TN, and Brent LaCross of Frewsburg, NY, seven grandchildren; Robbie and Emma Hoch, Riley, Jade, and Myah LaCross, Dakota Truex and Bradon Winne, one great grandchild; Hunter Winne, two brothers; Scott Coleman of Hartfield, NY, and Dale Coleman of Westfield, NY, one uncle; Bill and Judith Johnston, and one aunt; Shirley Messler.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

At Charlene's request there will be no public services observed. A private Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
