ASHVILLE- Coleen Howser Lawson, 66, of Limestone, TN, and formerly of Ashville, NY and Jamestown, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at her home in Limestone, TN.

She was born May 1, 1955 in Westfield, NY the daughter of the late James Wallace and Mabel Blanche Salsgiver Howser.

Coleen had attended Sherman Central School. She then worked for Quality Markets in Mayville and retired from Housekeeping for the Frewsburg Rest Home in Frewsburg, NY.

Coleen enjoyed baking, camping, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her three children; J. (Stacy) Howser, Kenny (Heather) Zysk, Sally (Todd) Janson one step daughter; Paige (Tom) Milligan, her grandchildren; Jocelyn Howser, Derrick Howser, Bryce Zysk, Megan Howell, Brooke Rodriguez, Anthony DePonceau, Kaitlyn and Madison Ford, her great grandchildren; Milah (MyMy Squirmbutt) Alexander, Yandel, Aaliyah and Aryana Rodriguez, Jayden, Wyatt, Brantley, and Jackson, two brothers: Wallace James (Colleen) Howser of Ripley, NY and Jim (Kathy) Howser of Ripley, NY and many nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Coleen was preceded in death by her loving husband of thirty years, John Eldon Lawson, a sister; Olive Armfelt, two brothers; Leroy Williams and Donnie Williams and one great granddaughter: Bella Rodriguez.

All services will be private at this time. Burial will be in the Ashville Maple Grove Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family and will be announced.

Memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to offset the final expenses.
