TITUSVILLE, PA- Coralyn L. Hunt Hawthorne went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. Coralyn was born August 20, 1935, in Mayville, NY, the daughter of the late Lee LLoyd and Lucille Crandall Hunt.

She was a graduate of Mayville Central School, a faithful protestant church member and Sunday School teacher.

Coralyn enjoyed spending time at the Titusville Sr. Center, eating out at Sams restaurant, going on boat rides and playing her guitar and singing in church with her late husband, George.

She is survived by her sister Sally Bird of Mayville, NY, a step son, Victor Hawthorne, her grandchildren Robert, Danielle, Katie and Greg and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Gerald Emerson Sr., her second husband George Hawthorne, her son Gerald Emerson Jr., brothers LLoyd and Lee Hunt and a sister, Joan Walsh.

The family would like to acknowledge and thank the staff at the Country Acres Personal Care Home in Titusville, Pa. who treated her with love and compassion.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at the Freay Funeral Home in Mayville, NY(139 S Erie St). Her niece's husband Ron Brown will officiate. Burial will be in the Mayville Cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour before the service (10 a.m.-11 a.m.) at the funeral home.
