MAYVILLE- Darleen Ruth Farnham Burnett, 78, of Mayville, passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at the Absolut Care of Westfield, in Westfield, NY.

She was born May 31, 1942 in Westfield, NY the daughter of the late Forest and Naomi Wasmund Farnham.

Darleen had been a homemaker, taking care of her three children and helping her husband, Gerry, with his many projects and interests.

She enjoyed bowling, knitting, crocheting, crafts, baking, cooking, her flower gardens, her cats, and most of all, family get togethers.

Darleen is survived by her husband; Gerald A. Burnett, whom she married November 9, 1959 in Hartfield, NY, three children; Rebecca Hall of Mayville, Douglas (Alice) Burnett of Mayville, and Virginia "Ginny" (Daniel) Snopkowski of Warsaw, NY, nine grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and three siblings; Dan Farnham of Kennedy, NY, Peggy (Bill) Cross of Mayville, and Tom Farnham of Buffalo, NY.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

There will be no services observed at this time. A memorial service will be held at a future date to be determined at the convenience of the family.
