CHAUTAUQUA- Deborah Doutt Coombs, 82, of Chautauqua, NY and Clermont, FL, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024, at UPMC Chautauqua Hospital in Jamestown, NY.  She was born April 12, 1942, in Rochester, PA, the daughter of the late Wayne James Doutt and Kathleen Atterholt Doutt.

She was a 1960 Stuart Hall High School graduate in Staunton, VA and  attended Muskingum College in New Concord, OH.

Debbie was a member of the Hurlbut Memorial Community United Methodist Church in Chautauqua, NY where she was active with the Summer Meal Ministry Program and was also in the Knitting Club at Kings Ridge in Clermont, FL. She enjoyed knitting, reading, attending the Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra, going on casino runs where she was consistently lucky, and spending time with friends and family.

She is survived by her loving husband, Richard James Coombs, who she married October 28, 1995, two daughters, Colette (Steven) Wolf of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Michele (Alex) Soufrine of Fort Lauderdale, FL, one stepdaughter, Heather (Ben) Olsen of Wooster, OH, two grandchildren, Shelby Wolf and Kaden Wolf, two step-grandchildren, Brody Olsen and Sophie Olsen, and one great-grandson, Jaxon Wolf. She is also survived by her former husband, Thomas F Farley III of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A private graveside service will be held at the Chautauqua Cemetery in Chautauqua, NY. The Rev. Rachel Stuart will officiate.
