ASHVILLE-Delton J. Vaillancourt, 78, of Ashville, died on January 5, 2019 at the Heritage Green Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation center in Greenhurst, NY.

He was born March 14, 1940 in VanBuren, Maine, the son of the late Rene and Mildred Levesque Vaillancourt.

Delton had been a truck driver for Quality Markets in Celeron and also ran his own landscaping business.

He enjoyed the outdoors, especially being in the woods, landscaping, mowing lawns, working on autobody, John Deere, and most of all, time with his family.

Delton is survived by his wife, Rolande Levesque Vaillancourt, whom he married June 30, 1962 in Tonawanda, NY, three children; Doreen (Richard) Anderson of Hilton, NY, Michael Vaillancourt of Jamestown, NY and Dean(Jennifer) Vaillancourt of Jamestown, seven grandchildren; Amanda, Alecia, Danielle, Rachael, Kaylyn, Daren, and Jacob, one great grandson; Joshua, a sister; Maryline Martin, and four brothers; Roger, Allen, Rosaire, and Nestor Vaillancourt.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers; Hervin, Reno, and Vynol Vaillancourt, and one sister; Renemae Dubay.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, January 10 ^th , 2019 at 4PM at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, 41 Main St, Bemus Point, NY 14712. Father Todd Remick will officiate. The family will receive friends for two hours prior to the service (2-4PM) at the church.
