SINCLAIRVILLE- Diane J. Thompson Lacki, 77, of Gerry, NY and formerly of Sinclairville, NY, passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at the Heritage Village Skilled Nursing and Rehab Facility in Gerry, NY with family at her side.

She was born November 15, 1943 in Little Rock, AK, the daughter of the late Charles and Ruth Adams Thompson.

Diane retired after forty years in nursing, most recently at the Heritage Village Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility in Gerry, where  she will be fondly remembered as a loving, and compassionate caregiver.

She enjoyed  reading, spending time with family and friends,  taking care of the residents of the nursing home, and was an avid Elvis Presley fan.

Diane is survived by her five children; Deborah Curtis of Titusville, FL, Cindy Bluth of N Bethesda, MD, John (Tammie) Lacki of Sinclairville, NY, Charlie (Julie) Lacki of Lakewood, NY, and Terri (John) Crandall of Mayville, NY. Twelve grandchildren; James Lacki, Joshua Lacki, Christine Palmer, Kaitlyn McLallen, Danielle Lacki, Ashley Johnson, Justin Williams, Amanda Clauss, Rachel Williams, Dustin Aldridge, Eamon Sullivan, and Juliette Bluth. Six great  grandchildren; Kailee, Caden, Tucker, John, Kevin, and Ellie. She is also survived by her brother; Charles Thompson of Cordova, TN, and two nephews; Greg and Scott Thompson.

A private graveside service will be held by the family at the Mayville Cemetery. The Rev. Carmen Perry will officiate.
