DEWITTVILLE – Diane Beebe Moss, 71, of Dewittville, NY and Ocala FL, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday October 20, 2015 in Ocala, FL.
She was born on June 24, 1944 to David Jackson Beebe and Marjory Munson Beebe.
She married Michael P. Moss December 22, 1961 in Dewittville, NY. Prior to retirement, she worked many years as an insurance agent/secretary for Mayville Tremaine Agency in Mayville, NY. After retirement, she and her husband decided to spend the winter months in Ocala, Florida where they own a condo. She quickly met several friends and became involved in many ladies groups and loved sitting by the community pool. She also volunteered for many years at her local church thrift shop and for hospice in their thrift shop. She cared deeply for her family and did what she could to help anyone.
During her summers in Dewittville, she thoroughly enjoyed spending her time with her close knit friends and her family.
She is survived by her husband Michael P. Moss, her son, Troy Moss (Donna) of Dewittville; grandson Joshua Moss (Debbie) and future great granddaughter of Cheektowaga, NY; granddaughter Jenna Farnsworth (Jeremy) and future great grandson of Stockton, NY; and many wonderful friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday (Oct. 31, 2015) at the Mayville United Methodist Church.
