MINA- Dorothy Conrad, 85, of Mina, NY and formerly of Clifton, NJ, and Rutherford, NJ passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, March 3, 2023, following a lengthy battle with dementia.

She was born July 16, 1937, in Wallington, NJ, the daughter of the late John and Catherine Ziem Puzio.

Dorothy was a 1956 graduate of Rutherford High School. She then earned her Dieticians Degree from the NY City School of Dietetics. She was a previous member of Living Gospel Baptist Church in Rutherford, NJ. She was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord and enjoyed playing the piano, swimming, and had a heart for her dogs, the farm animals, and children. Most of all she enjoyed being with her family.

Dorothy is survived by her son; Gerald (Susan) Conrad Sr., of Sherman, NY, two grandsons; Gerald (Ryann) Conrad Jr., of Westfield, NY, and Bryan Conrad of Mayville, NY, one great grandson; Wesley Conrad, and one step great granddaughter; Marley Lyon.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son; Randy Conrad and a sister; Marion J. Morgan.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at the Freay Funeral Home in Mayville (139 S. Erie St). A private graveside service will be held in the East Ridgelawn cemetery in Clifton, NJ at the convenience of the family.
