MAYVILLE – E. Jeanne Brumagim, 98, of Teaneck, NJ, formerly of Mayville, NY, died Friday (February 20, 2015) in Teaneck.
She was born January 10, 1917 in Terra Bella, CA., the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Lucille Couch Brumagim.
Jeanne was a registered nurse and did private duty nursing at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the American Red Cross, and a former member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Mayville.
Jeanne enjoyed music, playing the harmonica, making ceramics, and attending Luthern bible study camps in the summer in NH.
She is survived by a niece, Marcia Nelson of Apalachian, NY; three nephews, Bill Brumagim of Loveland, CO., Mark Brumagim of Louisville, KY, and Randy Brumagim of Killeen, TX; several grand nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Nancy Brumagim Beck; three brothers, Francis, Duane, and Evan "Bill" Brumagim.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday in the Mayville Cemetery. Rev. Ivy Gauvin of St. Mark Lutheran Church will officiate.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Mayville.
