Edward M. Storer, 63, of Westfield, NY and formerly of Buffalo, NY, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 following a lengthy battle with MS.

He was born April 24, 1958 in Buffalo, NY, the son of the late Edward H. and Mary Carpino Storer.

Ed was a 1976 graduate of Sweet Home High School. He was a civil servant having retired from the Erie County Water Authority in Buffalo, NY. He had also worked as a Merchant Marine for many years.

Ed enjoyed his Harley Davidson, hunting, sitting on his patio visiting with people and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his two children; Edward Storer of Buffalo, NY and Cassidy Storer of Buffalo, NY, a brother; Mark Storer of Maple Springs, NY, a sister; Cynthia (James) Storer Wilcko of Erie, PA, a niece; Mary Margaret "Maggie" (Matthew) Gustafson of Bemus Point, NY, three nephews; Andrew Simpson of Reno, NV, Oliver Simpson of Mobile, AL, and Joshua Ross of Jamestown, NY and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Edward H. and Mary Carpino Storer.

Friends will be received from 1-4PM on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at the Freay Funeral Home in Mayville (139 S. Erie St). A private graveside service will be held in the Chautauqua Cemetery with FR Todd Remick as the celebrant.
