MAYVILLE – Elnora M. Fardink, 94, of 170 Lakeview Ave., Mayville, died Thursday (March 27, 2014) at Absolut of Westfield.

She was born January 12, 1920 in Ashville, NY the daughter of the late Alem and Nora Bohall Carlson.

Elnora was a member of Lake Chautauqua Memorial Post 8647 VFW Aux. in Mayville, Mayville American Legion Post 493 Aux., and the Lakewood Moose Aux.

She enjoyed watching birds, bowling, gardening, and she loved her grandchildren.

She is survived by three daughters, Donna (Bill) Lescynski of Mayville, June Gross of Mayville, and Mary (John) foster of Mohave, AZ; one son, Donald A. Fardink of Mayville; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Fardink; one son, Roger Fardink; three grandchildren, Tammy, timothy, and Tabitha; three sisters, Elizabeth, Carol, and Ruth; five brothers, Norman, Harold, David, Leonard, and Adolph.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Ashville.
