WESTFIELD- Erma (Barringer) Lloyd, 98 passed away on March 26, 2022, at the Absolut Care of Westfield facility where she had been a resident since February.  Prior to her stay at Absolut, she resided at Brookdale Assisted Living in Lakewood, where she enjoyed activities with the many friends she met during her stay. She was born on December 18, 1923, in Mina to Harry and Mabel (Dunnewold) Barringer.  She was a graduate of Sherman Central School.  During the war years she worked at Erie Resistor and later worked at the DMV in Mayville.

She married Edgar Lloyd of Westfield, and they resided in Westfield and Mayville throughout the years.  She was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church of Westfield.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Richard, and her three siblings: Edris Roach, Verna Thompson, and Ivan Barringer.  She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Mary and Duane Miller, her daughter-in-law Francine Lloyd, grandchildren Sandra & Craig Lloyd, Alice, Amy, & Ann Miller, and great granddaughter Olivia Lloyd.

A private graveside service will be held by family in the Westfield Cemetery. A public memorial service will be held in the spring at the convenience of the family and will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are with the Freay Funeral Home.
