MAYVILLE – Evelyn F Myer, 94, formerly of Memory Gardens, Jamestown, New York died Saturday (Nov. 19, 2016) at Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility.
She was born May 5, 1922 in Jersey City, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Julius and Anna Ritter Lehman.
Evelyn had been an Administrative Assistant for the New York State Department of Agriculture.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed crafty handiwork and her Bible studies which was of utmost importance to her, as well as her strong relationship with her Lord and Savior.
She is survived by her daughter, Julie S. (Smith) Monaco (friend Philip Brunskill) of Mayville, NY, ; three step children; Richard (Linda) Myer, of Geneva, NY, Patty Snyder, of Geneva, and Judy (Donald) Warne of Romulus, NY; 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Myer, whom she married August, 26, 1960.
A memorial service for Evelyn will be held at a later date to be announced.
