MAYVILLE- Francis C. "Otto" Graham, 87, of Mayville, passed away on Monday, August 22,

2022, at the Heritage Green Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Greenhurst, NY.

He was born June 25, 1935, in Sherman, NY, the son of the late Ellsworth and Dolly

Chamberlain Graham.

Otto was a 1953 graduate of Chautauqua High School. He then proudly served his country in

the United States Marine Corp., serving in the Korean War. After his honorable discharge, he

worked and retired from the NYS DOT in Mayville, NY where he was a heavy equipment

operator. He was a charter member of the Lake Chautauqua VFW Post 8647 where he served on the Honor Guard for many years and as Commander from 1990 to 1992. He was also a lifetime member of the American Legion.

Before Rose's passing in 2016 he enjoyed travelling all around the country with her in their camper. Otto also enjoyed woodworking, watching football, listening to country music, cooking, and most of all spending time with his family and his cats.

He is survived by sisters, Wilma Pudder and Dawn Kothi, of Geneva, OH; his three children, daughter, Karen "Kay" Doebele, of Tampa, FL; two sons, Ben (Diane) Graham Sr. of Bear Lake, PA and Robbie (Kim) Graham, of Chester, S.C.; Rose Latimer's sons, Donald (Wanda) Latimer and David Latimer (Kim) both of Mayville, NY. 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren blessed his life.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving companion of thirty-one years, Rose Ann McBroom Latimer, and two brothers Arthur and Richard.

At Otto's request there was no visitation and burial was private. A graveside service with

Military honors will be held in the Mayville Cemetery on September 10 at 10:00 am with a reception to follow.
