DEWITTVILLE- Geraldine Ann Buchman, 79, of Dewittville, NY, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at St Vincent Hospital in Erie, PA. She was born September 23, 1944, in Cleveland, OH, the daughter of the late Norbert and Anna Mihelic Babinec.

She was a 1962 graduate of South High School in Cleveland, OH. She had owned and operated the Sea Breeze Bar and Restaurant in Dewittville, NY. She enjoyed commercial fishing, swimming, cooking, dancing and singing.

Gerry is survived by her daughter, Christine Ann (David Chunat) Foster of Brunswick, OH, one sister, Mary Ann Westbrook of Ravenna, OH, one brother, Raymond (Bernadine) Babinec of Fairview, OH, and three nephews, James Christopher Psenicka of Austin, TX, Michael Scott Psenicka of Lakewood, OH, and Brett Garrett Psenicka of Ravenna, OH.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Buchman and a brother-in-law, Rodney Westbrook.

A memorial mass will be held at a future date and will be announced.
