DEWITTVILLE- Herbert "Herb" Harvey Brumbach, 79, of Dewittville, NY and formerly of Bay Village, OH and Foley, AL passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at the Westfield Memorial Hospital in Westfield, NY.
He was born September 22, 1942, in Livingston, NJ, the son of the late Harvey and Lucretta Ings Brumbach.
Herb was a 1960 graduate of Hanover Park High School in Hanover, NJ. . He worked as the Owner/President of Geotronix Supply Company, a manufacturing rep business, in Richfield, OH. He was a resident of Bay Village, OH from 1971 to 2009 and an owner of his condo at the Chautauqua Lake Estates in Dewittville, NY since 1979. For many years he split time between Foley, AL and Chautauqua Lake Estates, moving full time to Chautauqua in 2021.
Herb belonged to the Escapee's RV Club from 2009 until 2016, was a member of the Dewittville United Methodist Church, was an avid kayaker with Evergreen Outfitters and cyclist with the Hollyloft Cycle Club. His favorite time spent was with his family.
He is survived by two children; Timothy Brumbach of Columbus, OH, and Sherri (David) Mallett of Columbus, OH, and four grandchildren; David (Melissa) Grimes, Katie Grimes, Zach Mallett, and Jess Mallett.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife; Anne Louise Remley Brumbach, whom he married July 21, 1962.
Plans are being made for a memorial celebration in the fall at the Webb's Captain's Table Restaurant in Mayville, NY (115 W. Lake Rd).
