SILVER CREEK- Jack L. Freeman, 87, of Silver Creek and formerly of Sherman, NY, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2023, at Brooks Hospital in Dunkirk, NY. He was born May 9, 1936, in Sherman, NY, the son of the late John and Fern Miller Freeman.

Jack was a 1955 graduate of Sherman Central School. He had worked as a Quality Manager for True Temper in Dunkirk, NY. He was a member of the Falcon, Moniuszko clubs and the Silver Creek VFW.  He enjoyed hunting, playing cards and spending time with family and friends. He was a very likable person who could befriend anyone he met.

He is survived by two children; Scott (Barbara) Freeman of Saratoga Springs, NY, Brenda (Timothy) Golubski of Silver Creek, NY, and four grandchildren; James Golubski, Elizabeth Golubski, Ross Freeman, and Rachel Freeman, one great-grandson Jackson Skubis

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife; Roberta Wykoff Freeman, and two sons; Michael and Mark Freeman, 3 brothers Paul, Max, Gilbert and one sister June

At Jack's request, all services will be private. Burial will be in the Sherman Cemetery.
