PANAMA – Judith Lynn (Krause) Auge, 55, of 5969 Niobe Road, Panama, NY, went home to the Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday (July 5, 2014) in her home.
She was born November 20, 1958 in Ithaca, NY the daughter of Charles L. and Dorothy Johnson Krause.
Judy received her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the State University College at Geneseo.
Jude had been a member of Chautauqua Fire Department (before we moved to Panama), a Cub Scout leader, and she was an active volunteer in community organizations and events.
She devoted her life to her family and to helping others. She loved nature and the outdoors, and she enjoyed gardening, bird watching, camping, and quiet sunsets.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years Darwyn Auge whom she married December 26, 1982 in Castile, NY; two sons Levi (Alisha) Auge of Chautauqua, NY, and Luke (Ariel) Auge of Jacksonville, FL; four granddaughters, Juliana, Ella, Evangeline, and Annabelle; three brothers, Jeff (Debbie), Marty (Chris), and Mike; and her parents Charles and Dorothy Krause.
She was preceded in death by her Paternal grandparents, Luis and Velma Krause as well as her Maternal grandparents, Carl and Gertrude Johnson.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Freay Funeral Home in Mayville. Rev. Timothy Phelps, chaplain with Hospice Chautauqua County will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home.
