WESTFIELD – Karin J. Chandler, 62, of Hardenburg Road, Westfield, died Tuesday (Nov. 1, 2016) at Westfield Memorial Hospital.
She was born March 18, 1954 in Westfield, the daughter of the late James and Anita Dearing Carlson.
Karin was a veteran of the US Navy.
She had been the manager of a Produce Stand in Maggie Valley, NC.
She enjoyed cooking, her dogs, and she loved her family.
She is survived by a son, Douglas (Nichole Hull) Wappat of Mayville; two sisters, Peggy (Dan Smith) Preston of Mayville, and Kristin (Phil) Hammond of Hartfield; two brothers, Kurt Carlson of Batavia, and Eric (Barb) Carlson of Hartfield; and her companion, Ed Smith of Westfield.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday at the Mayville Cemetery.
No visitation will be held.
