DEWITTVILLE – Kathy A. Donato, 62, of Meadows Road, Dewittville, died Saturday (December 6, 2014) at Roswell Park Hospital in Buffalo, NY.
She was born May 20, 1952 in Westfield, NY, the daughter of the late Alan E. and Irene E. Johnson Rhebergen.
Kathy had been a Senior Clerk in the Chautauqua County Clerk's office in Mayville. She previously had worked as a clerk at the Chautauqua County DMV. She was a member of St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church in Mayville.
Kathy enjoyed reading, knitting, gardening, riding ATV's and being in the woods. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren whom will forever love their "Grandma Kathy".
She is survived by her husband, Anthony J. Donato whom she married January 12, 1974 in Mayville; two children, Jason D. (Lee) Donato of Dewittville, and Melissa A. Donato of Amherst, NY; three grandchildren, Taylor, Peyton, and Gage Donato all of Dewittville; one brother, John A. (Constance) Rhebergen of Houston, TX; and one sister, JoAnne (Tim) Kammer of Mayville.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Mayville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday (Dec. 10, 2014) at the Freay Funeral Home in Mayville.
