SHERMAN-Kay N Weise, 80, of Sherman, NY died Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at her home.

She was born October 11, 1938 in Sherman, the daughter of the late Harold and Ester Langworthy Parment.

Kay worked as a housewife, co-owner of Russell A. Weise Jr. Garage and former owner/operator of Sherman Inn Between Bed and Breakfast and worked for Chautauqua County Board of Elections.

Kay loved her gardening and canning all of the home-grown fresh vegetables, traveling, feeding and watching her birds, pouring and painting porcelain dolls, and time with family, especially her grandkids and great grandkids.

She is survived by her husband, Russell A. Weise Jr., whom she married November 27, 1957; three children: James Weise of Sherman, Rusty (Tammy) Weise of Sherman, Sherry (Mark) Palmer of East Aurora, NY; 7 grandchildren: Jennifer (Joe) Nickerson, CodyAnne (Aaron) Chambers, Travis (Jessica) Weise, Alex (Nhung) Palmer, Colin (Mary) Palmer and Morgan and Madison Palmer; and 6 great grandchildren along with being caretaker of 50+ foster children over the years.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters: Connie Parment and Donna Karges.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 31, 2019 at Findley Lake United Methodist Church (2862 North Rd.) Findley Lake, N.Y.  The Rev. David Cooke will officiate.  Burial will be in the Sherman Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. March 31 before the memorial service.
