HARTFIELD- Kenneth Warren Beck, 71, of Hartfield, passed away at his home unexpectedly on Saturday, January 9, 2021.

He was born May 25, 1949 in New Kensington, PA, the son of the late Wilmer Beck and Margaret Everheart.

Ken attended Mayville and Sherman Central Schools. He retired from the auto industry as a car detailer for Hartley Buick in Jamestown, NY where he worked for over thirty years. In earlier years he had worked as an Auxiliary Police Officer with the Westfield Police Department and had previously been a member of the Hartfield Fire Department.

He cherished every moment spent with his family, and filled his home with love and laughter.  Ken also loved to put the "Beck" fingerprint on every car or truck he owned, by adding extras and making them shine.

He also loved model cars and trains, fifties Rock n' Roll, studying history, collecting old license plates, snowmobiling, demolition derby, Coon Road Speedway, and driving field cars.

Ken is survived by his loving wife; Shirley Ann Schrader Beck, whom he married November 12, 1983, two sons; Chad (Stephanie) Beck of Sheridan, and Chase Beck of Hartfield, NY, one sister; Peggy (Butch) Cole, one step-brother; Bob Beck of New Kensington, PA, and a nephew; Ricky Schrader of Ripley, NY,.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother; Bill Beck, and several aunts and uncles.

There will be no services observed. A private celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
