MAYVILLE- Kenneth L. Woodard, 82, of Mayville, passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at UPMC Hamot Hospital with family at his side.

He was born September 9, 1938 in Jamestown, NY the son of the late James and Ruth Pope Woodard.

Ken was a 1956 graduate of Chautauqua Central School. He had worked for The Hobbnobin Farm in Stedman, NY for many years before working and retiring with Klinginsmith Plumbing and Heating in Mayville. He was a past member of the Ashville Fire Department.

Ken enjoyed being in the outdoors and all types of hunting, especially coon hunting. He also enjoyed trapping, fishing and time with his family.

He is survived by one daughter; Jeanine Woodard of Busti, NY and one son; Kelly Woodard of Busti, NY, eight grandchildren; Laura, Lynne, Tabitha, Jennifer, Hannah, Ty, Kyle, and Travis, nine great grandchildren, brother Allen Sr. And several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife; Janet Starkweather Woodard, one daughter; Karen Woodard Jordan, and one son; Jeffrey Woodard.

There will be no services observed at this time. A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
