SHERMAN-Larry L. Cupp, 64, of Sherman, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2018.

He was born November 23, 1953, in Westfield, NY, the son of the late Alvin and Arminita (Minnie) J. Peru Cupp.

Larry served in the US Army for 12 years.

He was a self-employed truck driver over the last thirty years.

Larry had many interests and activities that he liked to do, including fly tying, fishing, hunting, and all types of outdoor sports. He also enjoyed wood carving, chainsaw carving, drawing, mechanics, riding his motorcycle, and working in his yard.

He is survived by a son; David V. Cupp and granddaughter; Taylor R. Cupp of NM, and a daughter; Dawn M. (Ramon A) Cruz of NC, two granddaughters; Corina M Cruz of NC and Adrianna A. (Nichols) Rivers of GA, one brother; Lamont R. (Cynthia G.) Cupp of CO, one sister; Wendy O (Gerald L.) Hoag of NY, many nieces and nephews and a special friend; Brooke Joy.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; Alvin and Arminita Peru Cupp, his sister; Becky L. Cupp, a nephew; Lynn R. Cupp, and a companion; Linda L. Owings.

The funeral will be held Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 11AM at the Freay Funeral Home (139 S Erie St) in Mayville. Rev. Daniel Prewitt will officiate. Burial will be held in the Sherman Cemetery where full military honors will be given.

The family will receive friends rom 4-7PM at the funeral home on Friday, October 19, 2018.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to the Stanley Hose Fire Department Company 1, 122 Park Street, Sherman, NY 14781.
