MAYVILLE – Laura K. Gens, 58, of Mayville, died Sunday (September 22, 2013) in Westfield Memorial Hospital.

She was born April 1, 1955 in Westfield the daughter of Frederick Haley and the late Susan Preston Haley Atkinson.

Laura was self employed. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, animals, gardening, her daughter, and her grandchildren.

She is survived by her father, Frederick Haley of Jamestown; her longtime male companion, John King of Mayville, a daughter, Jenifer A. Gens (Jesse Utley) of Mayville; two granddaughters, Novecia Utley and Katianna Utley both of Mayville; three sisters, Sally J. Haley of Mayville, Becky McCall of Canton, OH, and Cynthia Briggs of Mayville; one brother, Ken Haley of Erie, PA.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Susan P. Atkinson.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
