MAYVILLE- Leonard "Len" E. Morlock, 52, of Mayville, NY, and formerly of Eden, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 26, 2024, at UPMC Chautauqua Hospital, following a brief illness. He was born September 29, 1971, in Buffalo, NY, the son of Robert Morlock and the late Sandra Austin Morlock.

He was a 1989 graduate of Eden High School and earned an associate degree from Alfred State in 1996. He worked as a Computer Drafter for Dresser-Rand and Siemens Energy in Olean, NY.

Len was a member of the Chautauqua County Libertarian Party where he served as the current Chairman and was the previous Vice Chairman. He was also a previous member of the Immaculate Conception RC Church in Eden, NY.

He enjoyed fishing, vegetable gardening, camping, campfires, kayaking on Chautauqua Lake in the evenings, cheering for the Buffalo Bills and working with computers. Most of all, he enjoyed time with his family.

Len is survived by his father, Robert Morlock of Mayville, a sister, Lorie (Steve) Savurdich of Sardina, NY, a brother, Larry (Marilyn) Morlock, of Eden, NY, four nephews, Leonard A Chojnocki, Steven Chojnicki Jr, Andrew Busch and Christopher Busch, his special companion, Michelle Butman of Jamestown, NY, several aunts and uncles and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother.

At Len's request, there will be no public services observed. A private graveside service will be held in the Mayville Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
