BEMUS POINT- LeRoy "Punky" "Bert" "Lump" Albert Brown Jr., 59, of Bemus Point, died unexpectedly on July 25, 2017 in Indianapolis, IN.
He was born March 15, 1958 in Jamestown, NY, the son of the late LeRoy and Betty Latta Brown Sr.
LeRoy was a truck driver for NACO Express. He enjoyed football, especially his Buffalo Bills, fishing, sneaking sweets, his children and grandchildren, and time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Renee Brown, whom he married on July 31, 1994, three children; Emily (Lance) McAllister, David W. Beard, and Stephen Beard, twelve grandchildren; Connor, Wyatt, Kayden, Layla, Shelby, Caylen, Liam, Madelynn, Dominick, Carlee, Maverick, and Leland, twenty one nieces and nephews, and five siblings; Ruby Thorp, Debra Brown, Linda L. Courson, Jane Ann Shields, and Stacey Caldwell.
LeRoy was preceded in death by a sister; Rose Ann Brown and a niece, Savanna Babcock.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at 7pm at the Freay Funeral Home in Mayville. Pastor Dayle Keefer will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 5-7PM before the service on Tuesday.
