DEWITTVILLE- Lucille Rita Cochran, 81of Sierra Vista, AZ, and formerly of Westfield, died Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at her sister's home in Point Chautauqua.
She was born January 25, 1936 in Jamestown, NY, the daughter of the late William and Myrtle Mosher Robinson.
Lucille was a Nurse's Aid for many years at the County Home in Dunkirk.
She enjoyed anything regarding the old west, reading, all animals, loved cooking, and spending time with her family.
Lucille is survived by her husband, Richard Cochran, whom she married February 19, 1971 in Mayville; one son, Kevin Nellis Sr. of Arizona, one daughter; Kelly (Zeb) Smith of Westfield, an adopted niece; Patti (Jerry) Dudley of Dewittville, an adopted son; Karl Croffoot of Arizona, nine grandchildren; Kevin Nellis Jr., Kimberley Nellis, Katelyn Smith, Jared Smith, Jason, Jamie, and Jon Dudley, Samantha and Tyler Johnson, nine great grandchildren, one sister; Ruth (Chan) Nelson, several nieces and nephews, and many extended family members and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her first husband, Alfred Nellis, three sisters; Lillian Sheffield, Vivian Freeman, and Ida Miller, and one great aunt, Joyce Mathews.
There will be no services at this time. A celebration of Lucille's life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
