CASSADAGA – Lucille D. George, 82, of 10 Ulrich Park Drive, Cassadaga, died Thursday (June 6, 2013) in WCA Hospital in Jamestown.
She was born May 28, 1931 in East Otto, NY, the daughter of the late Earl and Florence Westfall Stockwell.
Lucille had been a home care giver thru Chautauqua Opportunities.
Lucille's love was her family and being with them.
She is survived by her husband, William R. George, whom she married July 1, 1950 in East Otto, NY; two sons, Richard (Linda) George of Fredonia, and Donald (Lori) George of Randolph; 13 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two sisters, Delcine White of Salamanca, and Lenora Victor of Fredonia; one brother, James Stockwell of Cattaraugus.
She was preceded in death by a son, Rodney George in 2008; and a daughter, Linda Owings in 2012. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday in the Freay Funeral Home in Mayville. Pastor David Herr will officiate. Burial will be in the Mayville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
