SILVER CREEK- Lyle Raymond Pettit, 75, of Silver Creek, and formerly of Forestville, died on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Buffalo General Hospital, in Buffalo, NY.

He was born April 24, 1944 in Westfield, the son of the late Raymond and Idabelle Ostrander Pettit.

Lyle had been a Skilled Die Grinder for True Temper Corp Dunkirk Plt in Dunkirk, NY.

He enjoyed fishing in his boat, hunting, classic country music, and time with friends and family.

Lyle is survived by his wife; Edna Pettit of Forestville, NY, one daughter; Tammy (Daniel) Fisher of Rochester, NY, one son; Justin Pettit of Forestville, NY and one brother; Bruce Pettit of Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

At Lyle's request, there will be no services observed. A private celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
