Margaret G. Biekert's Obituary
Margaret G. Biekert, 97, of 158 Indiana Ave., Jamestown, died Tuesday (April 23, 2013) in Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing in Jamestown.
She was born June 9, 1915 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Duhoslav Seitz.
Margaret had worked at Empire State Mutual Life Insurance Company in Jamestown.
She was a member of the Jamestown Seventh Day Adventist Church, of which in earlier years she had been the church secretary and treasurer.
Margaret will be remembered as a humble unselfish loving wife and mother, with the sweetest smile.
She is survived by her husband, Robert C. Biekert whom she married September 25, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio; one daughter, Patricia Knowlton of Jamestown; and three nieces.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Seitz; her mother, Mary Duhoslav Seitz Rundell; her step father, Lee Rundell; two sisters, Mildred Miller and Bettie Bicik; and her son in-law, Kenneth K. Knowlton.
No funeral service or calling hours will be observed.
Burial will be in the Mayville Cemetery.
