JAMESTOWN- Marian G. Hull, 99, of Jamestown, NY, passed away on January 22, 2022. She passed away in her home surrounded by loved ones.
Marian was born on July 9, 1922 in her parents' home in Stedman, NY. A daughter of the late Jesse and Mary Hull she was raised in Stedman, throughout her childhood. Marian graduated from Chautauqua Central School. After graduation she moved to Rome, NY where she worked for War Production. Marian then worked at General Motors later transitioning to Alltel where she retired.
Post retirement she enjoyed volunteering at WCA hospital for years in the radiology and transport departments. Marian was a member of the Red Hatters Club in Jamestown and served as the treasurer for The Marvin House for many years.
Her interests included reading, bowling, playing cards, volunteering, and taking trips across country with the North Harmony Senior Citizens group.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Charles, Louis and Albert Hull, niece Mary Ellen Earls and great niece Shari Earls. She is survived by her nephews Jack and Corky (Jerold) Hull and niece Nancy Focareta, three great nieces and nephews, seven great-great nieces and nephews, and fourteen great-great-great nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, January 29th, 2022 at the Freay Funeral Home in Mayville (139 S. Erie St.). Friends will be received from 10:30AM until the start of the service at the funeral home on Saturday. Burial will be in the Magnolia Cemetery.
