Marie Ellen Pa­body of Graceville, Florida passed away on Sat­ur­day, July 15, 2017 at her res­i­dence. She was 90.

Fu­neral ser­vices will be held on Wednes­day, July 19, 2017 at 11 am in Sun­set Fu­neral Home Chapel with Steve Pa­body of­fi­ci­at­ing. Bur­ial will be in Jamestown, New York. The fam­ily will re­ceive friends at the fu­neral home from 10 to 11 am on the day of the ser­vice. In lieu of flow­ers con­sider a memo­r­ial to the char­ity of your choice.

Marie was born in New York on June 8, 1927 to the late Ver­nal and Car­olyn Lan­phere Car­pen­ter. She was pre­ceded in death by her hus­band of 61 years Rev. George Pa­body, her brother Robert Car­pen­ter of Zephyrhills, Florida and her sis­ter Mar­i­lyn Rossage Car­pen­ter of West­field, New York.

Sur­vivors in­clude her sons, Steve (Hazel) Pa­body of Graceville, FL and Jon (Da­ree) Pa­body of Fair­bault, Min­nesota; a daugh­ter, An­dra Tem­ple of Graceville, FL; 16 grand­chil­dren; 16 great-grand­chil­dren, and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside committal service will be held on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 10am at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Jamestown.
Arrangements are with the Freay Funeral Home in Mayville.
