WESTFIELD- Mary Louise Slayton Hall, 96, of Westfield, and formerly of Dewittville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at the Absolut Care of Westfield.

She was born July 27, 1926, in the Town of Harmony, NY the daughter of Lillian Berdina Slayton. Mary attended Mayville Central School. She had worked as a Stenographer for the Department of Social Services for Chautauqua County and retired in 1974.

Mary had been a member of the Mayville United Methodist Church, the Mayville American Legion Post 493 and the Lake Chautauqua VFW Post 8647. She enjoyed snowmobiling in her younger years and was a dedicated baseball mom for the Mayville Red Sox Little League. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her three sons: Ronald Earl (Connie) Hall of Mayville, David (Peggy) Hall of Mayville, and Reggy (Shirley) Hall of Mayville, thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband; Earl S. Hall, whom she married March 10, 1944, two brothers; Robert and Richard Sanders and two grandsons; Ricky and Tommy Hall.

At Mary's request there will be no public services observed. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in the Mayville Cemetery.
