MAYVILLE- Naomi M. Edson Wiler, 100, of Mayville, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 16, 2023, at UPMC Chautauqua Hospital in Jamestown, NY.

She was born January 21, 1923, in Warren, PA, the daughter of the late James and Nellie Pilling Durlin.

Naomi had attended high school in Pennsylvania. She was a homemaker and member of the Mayville United Methodist Church and the Mayville Senior Citizens. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, taking care of other people, watching the birds, collecting bird and angel figurines, going for walks, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter Wanda (Rex Wilson) Gustafson of Mayville, NY, a grandson, Tom (Cheryl) Gustafson of Mayville, NY, three great-grandchildren: Trisha (Scott Olson) Delcamp, Cody Gustafson, and Heather Lee, several great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands: Fred T. Lee, Steve Edson, and Everett Wiler, a son, F. Reggie Lee, a great-grandson, Ryan Lee, and nine siblings including her twin sister, Norma.

The funeral will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at the Freay Funeral Home in Mayville (139 S. Erie St). The Rev. Daniel Prewitt will officiate. Burial will be in the Mayville Cemetery. The family will receive friends for 1 hour prior to the service (11 AM – 12 noon), at the funeral home.
