DEWITTVILLE – Patricia E. "Pat" or "Pita" King, 71, of 7178 Beech Hill Road, Dewittville died Tuesday (April 9, 2013) in St. Vincent's Health Center in Erie, PA.

She was born April 2, 1942 in Saginaw, Mich., the daughter of the late Jack and Irene Sauner.

Pat had been a secretary for the Chautauqua County District Attorney in Mayville for 35 years.

She belonged to the First Baptist Church in Mayville, and the Mayville American Legion Auxiliary.

Pat loved riding in her husband's truck hauling cattle and traveling, she enjoyed fishing and nature walks.

She is survived by her husband, Gerry D. King whom she married November 11, 1990 in Mayville; four sons, Tod (Cinnamon) Vincent of Mayville, Kurt (Heather) Vincent of Tulsa, OK, Robert King and Timothy King both of Tampa, FL; two granddaughters Ashley Vincent and Malibu Vincent.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Irene Sauner; her mother and father in-law, Claud and Gladys (Skip) King; two sister in-laws, Pat Thomas and Margie Terry; and one brother in-law, Bill Tressler.

The funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm Friday in the Freay Funeral Home in Mayville. Rev. Norman Burdick will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm Thursday and from 4 to 6 pm Friday prior to the funeral in the funeral home.
