ASHVILLE- Patricia "Patty" G. Morton, 74, of Ashville, NY, passed away at her home on Sunday, October 10, 2021 with her family at her side.

She was born November 15, 1946 in Westfield, NY, the daughter of the late Henry W. and Alice D. Jacobson Magnuson.

Patty was a 1964 graduate of Mayville Central School. She had worked as a waitress for Webb's Captains Table as well as Webb's Candy Store and Motel. She had also worked in retail at the Victorian Christmas Store in Lakewood as well as for Wegman's and at the Front Porch in Bemus Point.

She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Mayville.

She enjoyed sewing, going to household sales, gardening, bird watching, birthday cakes, and spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

Patty is survived by her loving husband; Jon A. Morton, whom she married September 17, 1976 in Mayville, two sons; Jon "Andy" Morton of Stow and Daniel (Linda) Morton of Mayville, five grandchildren; Makayla Alexander, Glenn Morton, Domenic Cusimano, Marcus Morton and Vera Morton, two sister-in-laws; Laurie Magnuson of Maple Springs and Jane Morton of Lakewood, three nephews; Gary (Caroline) Magnuson of Brocton, Rob Magnuson of Maple Springs, and Christopher (Becca) Morton of Silver Creek, and one niece; Heather (Jacob) Brock of West Ellicott.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother; Henry Magnuson and a nephew; Peter Morton

At Patty's request there will be no public visitation observed. A graveside service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the Magnolia Cemetery. Fr. Richard Elberfeld will officiate.
