FREDONIA – Patricia J. Pabody, 85, of Houghton Street, Fredonia, died Sunday (March 6, 2016) at Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk.
She was born November 6, 1930 in Mayville the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary Blakeslee Arnold.
Pat had worked at Arnold's Restaurant and also at M&T Bank in Fredonia and Dunkirk.
She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star's.
Pat in addition to working outside of her home and raising a family, she taught ceramics for many years, she was an accomplished knitter, and she enjoyed being creative and artistic in her life and her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Dr. Vince) Pasquarello Jr. of Cataula, GA; one son, James (Susan) Pabody of Ithaca, NY; six grandchildren, Robin Locklear, Todd Bouquin, Melissa Meder, Brad Meder, Katherine Pabody, and Samuel Pabody; four great grandchildren; one sister, Sandra Maio of Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Loren Pabody who died February 22, 2004; a daughter, Mary Ann Meder who died February 14, 2016; and a brother, George Arnold.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday in the Freay Funeral Home in Mayville. Burial will be in the Mayville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm Thursday prior to the funeral.
