MAYVILLE – Patrick M. McGee, 74, of Honeysette Road, Mayville, died Saturday (July 11, 2015) in St. Vincent's Hospital in Erie, PA.
He was born March 17, 1941 in Olean, NY, the son of the late Amos and Ruth Calkins McGee.
He was a veteran of the US Army serving from 1961 to 1964 as a medic. Pat was a member of the Mayville American Legion.
He owned and operated Limestone Drilling in Mayville.
Patrick was an avid racing enthusiast enjoying NASCAR and dirt track racing, he also was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills.
He is survived by his wife, Sally Haley-McGee; his children, Jeff (Debra) Little of Bradford, PA, Michelle McGee of North East, PA, Cindy (Chris) Coppella of Bradford, Mike (Jennifer Suppo) McGee of Warsaw, Matthew McGee of Silver Creek, and Mark McGee of Silver Creek, three step children, Harry Little of Bradford, PA, Laurie (Chris) Johnson of Pittsburgh, and Nicole Haley of Phoenix, AZ; 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; one sister, Betty (Ralph) Bryant of Wellsville; and one brother, David McGee of Twentynine Palms, CA.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Bernice Fox.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday (July 18, 2015) at the American Legion in Mayville. Military honors will follow at the American Legion at 4:00 pm, conducted by the American Legion and Lake Chautauqua Memorial Post VFW of Mayville.
