SHERMAN – Patrick John Paul, 74, of Sherman, went to be with the Lord on January 4th, 2024. He was born August 18th, 1949, in Jamestown, NY, the son of the late Mary Lois Paul Spacht and William Douglas Paul.

After graduation from Sherman Central School, Pat served his country for two years in the US Army. As a carpenter by trade, he crafted not just structures, but created cherished memories in the lives he touched. Sports were his passion – whether playing, coaching, or cheering on his granddaughters, who he adored immensely. His true joy emanated from their triumphs. In honoring his life, we celebrate his faith, and unwavering love for family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Larry Spacht, three brothers, William, Mike and Nicolas Paul, Brother-in-law Frank Wasylink, and sister-in-law Diane Paul, and daughter, Andrea McCutcheon.

He is survived by his siblings: Kathy (Bob) Crane, Jerry (Kay) Paul, Sue (Jerry) Oehlbeck, Debbie Wasylink, Vicki (Norm) Rater, Connie Paul, Mary Lou (Mike) Spake, James (Catherine) Paul, Judy (Pat) Warren, and Brenda (Doug) Johnson; sisters-in-law Rosann and Nancy Paul; five granddaughters: Ryleigh (Trevor) Enterline, Cameryn Hawkins, Averey Hawkins, Sydney Hawkins, and Emily Hawkins, and two great grandchildren: Jolie and Landry Enterline and many nieces and nephews.

His legacy lives on through the love he shared and the lessons he imparted. There will be no visitation. A celebration of life will be observed at a later date.
