Robert E. "Stoney" Crandall of Tuttle OK passed away on January 12, 2021 in his home after a lengthy illness surrounded by his loving family.

Born June 12, 1936 in Jamestown NY to Elmore Crandall and Frances Ruland Lawson.

He grew up in the Chautauqua/Mayville area. He lived a very adventurous life traveling to California to work on a ranch in his younger years. He also drove semi many times across the country.

He and his wife owned and operated Elwell's Tasty Freeze for many years and later Stoney's Bar on Route 5 in Westfield NY.  He loved auctions and yard sales and dabbled in antiques.

Bob was always quick with a helping hand and a joke. He brought smiles to everyone who knew him.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife Pauline Warner Keith whom he married July 6, 1965, his parents, a step son Greg Keith, step daughter Susan Poeta, granddaughter Victoria Golden, great granddaughter Heather Golden, and sister-in-law Patricia Crandall.

He is survived by his brother Bruce Crandall of Mayville NY, step daughter Deena Keith of Tuttle OK, 6 grandchildren Veronica Golden, Patty Sue Allen, Bryan King, Vanessa Golden, Katie Poeta and Becky Poeta, several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, a niece and nephews.

A memorial to celebrate his life will be celebrated at a later date.
