WESTFIELD-Robert B. Myers Jr, 67, of Ashtabula, OH, and formerly of Westfield, died Friday, February 22, 2019 at his home in Ashtabula.

He was born March 12, 1951 in Kittanning, PA, the son of the late Robert B. Myers Sr. and Margaret Z. Brown Myers.

Robert was a veteran of the United States Army serving his country from 1971 to 1973.

He had been a truck driver for JB Hunt, and in earlier years worked for Welch's Food Inc., Blackstone Malleable Iron Works, and Saigeon grape and dairy farm.

Robert had attended Texas Bible College in Tyler TX.

He was a member of the Guardians USA Vets Inc., Blue and White Chapter in Ashtabula, OH, and a volunteer at The Soldiers and Sailors Home in Erie, PA. He loved electronic devices and was an avid reader.

Robert is survived by his two brothers; Jonathan C. (Dixie) Myers of Westfield, and George A. (Diane) Myers also of Westfield, four nieces; Courtney (Aaron) Taylor, Heather Myers, Amanda Myers, and Sarah (Jared) Fortner, one nephew; Nathan (Alyssa) Myers, and five great nieces and nephews; Isabella, Ethan, Isaac, Amelia, and Nathan.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the Westfield Portland Union Cemetery. The Rev. Vincent Sanzo will officiate. Military honors will be provided by the Westfield VFW Post 6764.
