MAYVILLE- Robert "Bobby" W. Wappat, 24, of Mayville, died unexpectedly on Monday, July 10, 2017, at Westfield Memorial Hospital.
He was born August 20, 1992, in Westfield, NY, the son of Kristin Hammond (Carlson), of Mayville, and the late Robert A. Wappat.
Bobby was a self-employed contract worker and jack-of-all-trades. He greatly enjoyed life, especially hunting, fishing, basketball, baseball and time with friends and family.
He is survived by his loving girlfriend, Kaelee Morin; his mother, Kristin (Phil) Hammond, four siblings; Erika (Justin) Walling, Douglas (Nichole Hull) Wappat, Jessica (Brian) Cersosimo, and Nikole Bowen, his aunts and uncles; Peggy (Danny Smith) Preston, Eric (Barb) Carlson, Kurt Carlson, Mindi Wappat Carol Erickson, Susanne Rollman, Steaven (Laurie) Wappat, Richard Wappat, and Kathy (Nathan) Zwald, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Bobby was preceded in death by his father, his paternal and maternal grandparents, one uncle; Bradley Wappat and one niece; Kya Lynn Walling.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, July 15 at 11:00am at the Freay Funeral Home in Mayville.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9pm on Friday, July 14, at the funeral home.
