MAYVILLE – Ronald E. Skellie, 70, of 160 Sea Lion Drive, Mayville, died on Wednesday (August 7, 2013) at St. Vincent Hospital in Erie, PA.
He was born July 26, 1943 the son of Edward and Frances Kenny Skellie.
He served in the US Marines, worked in the lumber business and drove truck. He enjoyed woodworking, working on engines and just being busy.
He is survived by his loving wife Sally of 52 years. Three daughters, Tamara and James Hurlbut, Jerri and Grant Warner, Teresa and Jay Griswold all of Sherman, NY. Six grandchildren, Meagan Livermore, Andrew Warner, Daniel Hurlbut, Tiffany Ball, Nicole Warner, and Tylor Griswold; six great grandchildren One brother, Donald Skellie; three sisters, Carol, June and Judy.
He spent his life enjoying his family.
No calling hours will be observed.
