MAYVILLE- Sally J. Haley-McGee, 66, of Mayville, died Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at her home in Mayville.

She was born September 13, 1952 in Westfield, NY, the daughter of the late Susan Joyce Preston Atkinson.

Sally had been a secretary for Limestone Drilling in Mayville, and previously a waitress and bartender. She was a graduate of Chautauqua Highschool, class of 1970.

She loved helping people and was a philanthropist for people in need and charitable causes. She also enjoyed reading, cooking, NASCAR racing, gardening and bird watching.

Sally is survived by her daughter; Nicole Haley, a step son; Michael (Jennifer) McGee, three grandchildren; Bradley Howard, Brent Buxton, and Donovan Bailey, two step grandchildren; Merideth McGee and Madelyn McGee, three great grandchildren; Sophia Howard, Elliana Buxton, and Macklynn McDonald, two sisters; Becky (Darrell) McCall, and Cindy (Donnie) Briggs, one brother; Ken Haley, several step brothers and sisters, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick McGee, whom she married January 17, 2015 at her home in Mayville, her mother, Susan P Atkinson, her step father; William Atkinson, her sister; Laura Gens, and two nephews; Donald Briggs Jr, and Timothy Krause.

At Sally's request there will be no visitation observed. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Mayville Cemetery.
